Special Education and Alternative Services
Consistent with State and Federal guidelines, Millard School District ensures that all students residing within the jurisdiction of the District, including students with disabilities, birth through 21 years of age, who are in need of alternative language services, and/or special education and related services are identified, located, and evaluated.
If you have a student that you believe is in need of these services, please contact the principal of your school, the Director of Special Education, Greg Chappell, or the Director of Alternative Language Services, Scott Bassett. Telephone: (435) 864-1000.
The Millard School District Special Education Department and Alternative Language Departments destroy outdated records. Special Education records and Alternative Language Service records for students who were born in 1990 will be destroyed on June 1, 2017. Parents or guardians who want their child’s records, or emancipated minors who want their own records, should contact the school district office at (435) 864-1000.
