Millard School District is supportive of military recruiting in our high schools. In accordance with the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 and the National Defense Authorization Act of 2002, military recruiters are entitled to receive the name, address, and telephone listing of Juniors and Seniors in high school, unless aparent requests that their student’s information not be released.


Parents are notified that the district will release names, addresses, and telephone numbers of juniors and seniors at each of our high schools to military recruiters upon request, unless parents request, in writing, that the information not be released. On an annual basis, a written request should be addressed to the Superintendent of Schools by September 1st to have their student’s name removed.
